• ALL DEER MUST BE TAKEN LEGALLY!

• Only 100% wild, fair chase whitetail deer may be entered

​

• You may enter up to two deer in the contest

​

• Competition will be open until January 17, 2027

​

• You must register to enter and pay entry fee before October 1st

  • No deer taken prior to registration will be accepted​

​

• Entry fee of $30 will be required upon registration (Tax will be refunded for online payments)

​

• Deer harvested with any legal method during the appropriate season are eligible to enter

​

• Prize will be awarded for the biggest buck

  • First prize must be picked up at Clark's Deer Processing in Wayne City, IL (directions will be provided)​​​

​

• Two additional prizes will be given away via raffle

​

• One raffle prize may be awarded per contestant​​

  • Raffles will be drawn as follows:

  • Raffle 1 - October 15, Raffle 2 - November 1, Raffle 3 - November 15, Raffle 4 - December 1​

• Raffle winners will be notified within 24 hours of drawing and announced on RHO social media

​

• Bucks taken must be verified by video and/or photo

  • You must be in the picture with your tagged buck to verify your entry

  • Photos will be submitted to page admin for verification

​

• Bucks must be taken during the 2026-2027 Deer Season

​

• Any Buck that cannot be clearly verified by video and/or photo will not be allowed entry into the contest

​

• Scoring will be done by the Boone & Crocket Club system

​

• At the end of the competition, all bucks qualifying for prizes will be scored by a member of the Ridge Hunter Outdoors Team, in person, to authenticate winners

​

• Winners will then be contacted and awarded their prize​
